The blaze broke out around 14:45 BST at the Billington Road industrial estate in Lancashire, sending smoke hundreds of feet into the air.
Warburtons said the building was safely evacuated, while Lancashire Fire and Rescue urged nearby residents to keep windows and doors closed.
