The overnight attacks hit multiple sites in Queens, including Congregation Machane Chodosh in Forest Hills, and police are searching for at least four suspects.
City council members Julie Menin, Lynn Schulman and Phil Wong visited the damaged locations, where photos showed swastikas spray-painted on synagogue walls, a garage door and a residential window.
Menin said the graffiti would be removed after the investigation. The incident follows a January Brooklyn case in which two teenagers were arrested on hate-crime charges over dozens of swastikas.
