At Target, Pokémon Pop-Tarts priced at $2.89 sold on eBay for up to $25, while a jacket, bag and pin bundle fetched $490.
The promotion, launched this past weekend, has quickly sold out in many stores, with jackets, bags and tote sets also reselling for well above retail.
Some sellers also tried to flip stolen in-store Pokémon display standees and boxes, with less success, as Target is expected to release a second wave of merchandise on 6 June.
