Custom Toyota MR2 goes on sale for $60,000 on eBay

Builder Marty Sweatt is selling the car after nearly a decade, having stretched the MR2 by 10.5 inches to fit a supercharged 4.2-litre Audi V8.
The heavily modified project, dubbed Typhoon, also has a widened rear, three radiators and a three-speed Audi automatic, but still needs tuning and has a faulty tachometer and air conditioning.
Sweatt says the one-off build has no direct MR2 equivalent, though it echoes Toyota-affiliated SARD's rare V8-powered MC8-R race car from the 1990s.
