The Arizona Democrat said energy and living costs dominate campaigning, and pointed to a 32-page December policy paper and his statewide 2024 win in a state also carried by Donald Trump.
He urged Democrats to restore tax credits for wind, solar and home efficiency, while accepting some added natural gas to meet surging demand from AI data centres.
Gallego argued Republicans are vulnerable as fuel and electricity prices rise; the Energy Information Administration says solar, wind and batteries will make up 93% of 86 gigawatts of new utility-scale capacity this year.
