Hubbell agrees to acquire NSI Industries for $3 billion

NSI, owned by Sentinel Capital Partners, supplies electrical fittings, connectors, components and wire-management products.
Hubbell said the deal will broaden its critical infrastructure offering for electrical and utility customers, including light industrial, datacentre and network infrastructure applications.
The transaction is expected to close by midyear and will be funded with cash and debt, backed by bridge financing from JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and HSBC Bank USA.
