The amd_halo_led x86 platform driver, posted for review, supports the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 system and exposes sysfs controls for brightness and multi_intensity.
Patch notes say the light bar has three independently controllable RGB channels and integrates with Linux's LED multicolor subsystem, suggesting polished out-of-box Linux support for the forthcoming mini PC.
The patches repeatedly call the device AMD Halo Box, hinting at its official name, and the driver could land in Linux 7.2 ahead of AMD's Advancing AI 2026 event on 23 July.
