Twenty-five dogs reached PAWS' medical centre in Little Village on Saturday from Ridglan Farms near Madison, as part of a planned relocation of 1,500 beagles.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue said the first 300 dogs left on Friday, with the Florida-based group taking about 1,000 and partner organisations handling the remaining 500.
