The NHL said Buffalo will host Game 1 and Game 2 at 7 p.m. ET on 6 and 8 May against either Montreal or Tampa Bay.
Their opponent will be decided by Sunday’s Game 7 between the Canadiens and Lightning, with Games 3 and 4 on the road on 10 and 12 May.
Buffalo reached the second round after beating Boston 4-1 in Game 6 on Friday, securing the club’s first playoff series win since 2007.
