Two farmers market vendors injured in catering truck collision

  • Sun Prairie police said the crash happened about 12:40 p.m. on the 100 block of Market Street as vendors were dismantling booths after the market.
  • A catering company's pickup, delivering food to a nearby event, struck a parked car and the two vendors on the sidewalk. Both were hospitalized and are expected to recover.
  • The driver was unhurt, showed no signs of impairment and the incident appears accidental, police said. Investigators asked anyone with information or video to contact the department.
