The Scottish musician was one of Santana's lead vocalists from 1979 to 1994, singing on tracks including "Winning," "Hold On" and "All I Ever Wanted."
Ligertwood also wrote Santana songs such as "The Nile" and worked with the Jeff Beck Group, Oblivion Express, Average White Band and David Sancious.
