Highlighted submissions include Nathan.c’s “Nordic Knit Dream”, Japan-based Mahkciw’s “Emerald Lattice” and “Golden Armor”, and marc_’s “Feathery Green Flow”, with entries open until 25 May 2026.
The concepts draw on Fair Isle knitwear, Japan’s asanoha motif, ancient Chinese armour and leaf veins, adapted for PITAKA’s Fusion Weaving process in aramid fibre phone cases.
PITAKA says the “Weave the Next, Weave Our World” contest aims to develop new visual language for tech, with winners potentially turned into products and reviewed by judges including Ross Lovegrove.
