Monday highs are forecast at 11C-19C, with Scotland and Northern Ireland sunniest, while southern England and South Wales face possible heavy, thundery downpours.
England and Wales are expected to stay mostly cloudy, and northern Scotland could also catch afternoon showers as most areas remain dry overnight with temperatures around 5C-10C.
The rest of the week is set to turn cooler, with Wednesday below average at under 10C in the north and about 15C in the south, plus scattered northern showers.
