The market runs 9am-1pm Sundays until 11 October, staying at Portage City Hall through 24 May before shifting on 31 May to 125 East Centre Avenue.
The new $3.25m facility will include three open-air pavilions, 50 covered vendor stalls, ADA-compliant walkways, a performance space, picnic areas and food-truck space.
Established in 2016, the market offers produce, artisan goods, live music and coffee, operates rain or shine, and many vendors accept SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, Senior Project Fresh and WIC.
