Khartia corps said Lava regiment carried out the February operation using heavy grenade-launching drones, kamikaze drones and robotic ground systems, with no Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield.
The strike destroyed the Russian stronghold and an ammunition store in a city building, allowing Khartia units to move into the cleared area.
The battle comes as Russia renews pressure on Kupiansk after last year's offensive and Ukraine's December counteroffensive, with Moscow still trying to infiltrate the city from both banks of the Oskil River.
