LG launches UltraGear 32GX870B dual-mode OLED gaming monitor

In Japan, the 31.5-inch model costs 169,800 yen ($1,081) and shipments begin on 11 June.
It uses LG's fourth-generation Tandem OLED panel, delivering 335-nit SDR brightness, 1,500-nit HDR peak brightness and 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage.
The monitor supports 27-inch or 24.5-inch scaled modes for esports, plus DisplayPort 2.1, G-Sync, FreeSync Premium Pro and 90W USB-C charging.

Is LG's dual-mode display the future, or an expensive feature that most current graphics cards cannot even fully support?
