An INSA poll for Bild am Sonntag put the CDU/CSU-SPD alliance at 38%, with CDU/CSU on 24% and SPD on 14%, based on 1,207 respondents surveyed on 27-30 April.
The coalition won 44.9% in the February 2025 election, while AfD has risen from 20.8% then to 28% now, ahead of the conservatives.
The Greens stand at 13% and the Left at 11%, while FDP and BSW are on 3% each, leaving few viable governing majorities without AfD support.
