The unbeaten light heavyweight moved to 14-0 with 10 stoppages in the eight-round 178-pound bout at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Delgado, also previously unbeaten, was hurt by a right hand, briefly ruled a slip, then finished by a right uppercut after rising.
The knockout came on the undercard of Gilberto Ramirez's cruiserweight title defence against David Benavidez, with Jaime Munguia facing Armando Resendiz in the co-feature.
