The wins strengthen Prates's case for a shot at welterweight champion Islam Makhachev and should push Salkilld, now 5-0 in the UFC, into the lightweight rankings.
Earlier on the main card, Louie Sutherland beat Tai Tuivasa by 30-26 unanimous decision, and Brando Peričić stopped Shamil Gaziev to stay unbeaten in the UFC.
