In an AirMail interview published Saturday, the 72-year-old said EVs are “BS” because of lithium’s environmental impact and said he has no interest in owning one.
Seinfeld, known for a large Porsche collection, also mocked self-driving cars and criticised modern car design as lacking confidence and cultural cool.
The remarks extend his long-running scepticism: in a 2020 SNY interview with Keith Hernandez, he dismissed electric cars with a terse “it’s fine.”
