Analyst picks Speechify as best Windows voice typing app

After several weeks testing seven tools on Windows, the reviewer said Speechify outperformed built-in options, Otter.ai, Google Docs Voice Typing, Dragon Professional, Wispr Flow, Braina Pro and Speechnotes.
The report said Speechify stays active across apps, learns corrections and vocabulary over time, and combines dictation with text-to-speech, reducing repeated edits and workflow interruptions.
It argued most rivals depend on cloud connections, suffer latency, consume heavy resources or fit narrow uses such as meetings, browsers, medical dictation or coding rather than general desktop writing.
