Police were called around 4pm to a street near Chris Brown's Tarzana home in Los Angeles after a woman reported gunfire at her car.
Officers interviewed both people, and the man, described as a Black male in his mid-30s, said he fired after the woman allegedly drove over his foot.
He was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. It was unclear whether Brown was home or had any connection to either person.
