Police said 20-year-old Julius Smith faces murder, a 15-year-old girl armed robbery and conspiracy, and Brittany Grant accessory charges after 16-year-old Kha-Mari Harrison was killed.
Investigators said Harrison and his friend had planned to rob Smith during an Instagram-arranged drug purchase, and surveillance footage plus license plate readers helped identify suspects and the vehicles involved.
Grant, described as Smith's aunt, allegedly hid the car and helped him evade detection; police have recovered several weapons and are awaiting ballistics results, while Smith's first court appearance is set for 19 May.
