Hundreds gathered Friday in Tampa after authorities identified Bristy’s remains and charged Limon’s roommate, Hisham Abugharbieh, over the killings.
The 27-year-old doctoral students from Bangladesh were last seen on 16 April; investigators say both were fatally stabbed and their bodies were later found in trash bags.
USF said the pair will be honoured at next week’s graduation ceremonies, and their names will be added to the university’s memorial for deceased students.
