The 36-year-old Domino's driver was arrested on 29 April in Fulton, Missouri, and jailed without bond on charges including first-degree assault, armed criminal action and leaving the scene.
Police say Walton argued over a missing tip, was captured on surveillance video shouting abuse, then accelerated into the victim in a driveway before fleeing at high speed.
The victim suffered visible hand injuries and shin pain; Walton later told officers he drove at him only to scare him. Court records also note a prior domestic assault and false imprisonment conviction.
