Autodesk outpaced Adobe's 1.87% rise and Trimble's 1.63% gain, though it lagged Oracle, which jumped 6.47%. Trading volume reached 2.3 million shares, above its 50-day average.
Despite the advance, Autodesk remains 25.75% below its 52-week high of $329.09 reached on 8 September.
