The image, posted on social media on Thursday, showed the craft being towed outside the company’s factory in Mesa, Arizona.
The update is Virgin Galactic’s first notable hardware reveal since it halted VSS Unity flights in June 2024 to focus on a vehicle designed for more frequent, lower-cost missions.
Founded by Richard Branson, the space tourism company flew passengers from 2021 and completed six spaceflights in 2023, but profitability remains uncertain across the suborbital tourism market.
