Richard Jackson becomes Occidental Petroleum CEO from 1 June

The Houston-based oil producer said its chief operating officer will also become president and join the board, while Vicki Hollub retires after leading the company since 2016.
Jackson joined Occidental in 2003 in its Middle East operations and has since held senior technical and leadership roles across the business.
Occidental said Hollub, a board member since 2015, will remain on the board after stepping down as chief executive.
