In a poll of 2,560 adults, 61% said using US force in Iran was a mistake, 85% opposed restoring the draft, and 40% felt worse off than in 2025.
Half expected gas prices to rise further, while 23% said they were falling behind financially; 76% reacted negatively to Donald Trump's post threatening that "a whole civilization will die tonight."
Most said military action raised risks of terrorism and recession, nearly two-thirds doubted any Iran deal would stop nuclear weapons development, and Americans were split 48%-46% on peace versus continued pressure.
