US voters see no success in Iran war and prioritise ending it

A Data for Progress poll of 1,167 likely voters found 52% say the US is not meeting its goals, versus 35% who say it is.
A 39% plurality chose ending the war quickly as Washington's main goal, while 23% prioritised stopping Iran getting a nuclear weapon and smaller shares backed other aims.
The April 24-27 survey followed renewed Strait of Hormuz disruption, including Iran's reimposed closure and seizure of two cargo ships, which helped push US oil prices to their highest since the war began.
