The 45-year-old appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court over stabbings in Golders Green and Southwark; no pleas were entered, and his case was sent to the Old Bailey for 15 May.
Prosecutors said Suleiman allegedly attacked Shloime Rand, 34, Moshe Shine, 76, and Ishmail Hussein, whom he had known for about 20 years; Rand has now been discharged from hospital.
Police have declared the Golders Green stabbings a terrorist incident, and Suleiman remains in custody after a medical episode during arrest. Britain raised its terror threat level to severe on Thursday.
