CSIS calculates US military equipment losses at $2.3bn to $2.8bn

The estimate includes a $700m radar aircraft destroyed at Prince Sultan airbase in Saudi Arabia on 27 March and THAAD radar losses worth $485m-$970m.
CSIS said most losses came from Iranian missile and drone strikes, though three F-15s were also downed by friendly fire in Kuwait in early March.
The tally excludes damage at regional US bases, specialised equipment and naval assets, as blocked US satellite imagery has complicated assessments in the war that began on 28 February.
