The Louisville restaurant will shut on Friday and Saturday during the 152nd Derby weekend, after Churchill Downs moved Friday's Kentucky Oaks post time to 8:40 p.m. from 6 p.m.
Francis, whose family has owned the steakhouse since 1958, said the later race will keep patrons at the track and hurt what is usually a crucial night for local restaurants.
