The Korean-market launch adds AI chatbot Gleo, video streaming, a slim digital cluster and retained physical knobs and climate toggles, with Europe’s Ioniq 3 next and the US to follow later.
Hyundai says the mobile-style interface supports split-screen multitasking, floating navigation tiles and a three-finger gesture to close or move apps, while showing a 3D view of surrounding objects and people.
The rollout underpins Hyundai’s shift to software-defined vehicles, with over-the-air updates planned to expand Gleo’s functions and a target of installing Pleos Connect in 20 million Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles by 2030.
