The 41-year-old driver disappeared on 17 April after stopping at a Brevard County, Florida, rest area; his truck was later found nearly 300 miles away in Port Wentworth.
The FBI said GPS showed the truck briefly heading south before reversing north, and that González became unreachable soon after. Three transported vehicles have been recovered in Florida, while others remain missing.
González had picked up multiple vehicles at the Port of Brunswick for delivery to Miami. The Atlanta and Tampa FBI offices are investigating his death and the suspected hijacking, with the cause of death still unclear.
