In an Instagram video, the former Wasp actor said longtime Marvel artist Andy Park told her he had been let go from visual development.
Lilly called the cuts "disgusting and horrible" and alleged artists who helped create Marvel characters were being replaced by AI using their work to generate new iterations.
Disney earlier confirmed 1,000 company-wide layoffs as it seeks a more agile, technologically enabled workforce, but has not said AI drove the cuts and disputed reports of an 8% Marvel reduction.
