The Calgary Stampeders confirmed Thursday that the 30-year-old quarterback will not return for the 2026 CFL season after appearing mostly as a backup in 2025.
Walker threw for 395 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions last season, and had been set to suit up for Calgary after NFL stops with the Colts, Panthers, Browns, Bears and Seahawks.
Before turning pro in 2017, he set multiple passing records at Temple; his career also included a standout 2020 spell with the XFL's Houston Roughnecks.
