UBS hires Kazuhiko Fukaya to cover Japan's local financial institutions

Fukaya, formerly Goldman Sachs' head of sales to Japan's regional banks, joined UBS Securities Japan in Tokyo as an executive director on Friday.
He will shift from more than two decades in securities and product sales into investment banking and dealmaking for Japanese lenders.
The move is part of UBS's push to strengthen relationships with local financial institutions and win more investment banking mandates in Japan.
