High school stabbing injures six after altercation

At Foss High School in Tacoma, Washington, five students and a security guard were hurt; four students were initially critical, and a student suspect was hospitalized and taken into custody.
Police and firefighters responded just after 1:30 p.m. to an active assault on campus, where one victim was found outside before crews treated others inside.
By 4 p.m. local time, all injured were reported stable; the school was locked down, parents were allowed to collect children, and Friday activities had already been canceled.
