RTX shares gained 1.90% to $176.07 on Thursday, while Boeing rose 2.20%, TransDigm 1.51% and Textron 6.88%.
The broader market also advanced, with the S&P 500 up 1.02% to 7,209.01 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbing 1.62% to 49,652.14.
RTX ended 17.92% below its 52-week high of $214.50 reached on 3 March, while trading volume of 6.2 million topped its 50-day average of 5.8 million.
