The 27-year-old former Oakside Prep Academy teacher in Waterford Township received four to 15 years in Oakland County after admitting a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old she tutored.
The judge said she recorded the encounters at the boy's home, while the victim's mother said the case upended her son's education, routine and sense of security.
Sanroman, arrested and arraigned in June 2025 over conduct in 2023, must register as a sex offender for life after another teacher alerted police.
