The survey found 27% use AI for in-game upscaling, 23% for research or ideation, 18% for coding, and 47% say they do not use AI at all.
Smaller shares said AI writes their emails, does schoolwork or manages their digital lives, while 7% said they use it for everything.
The author said the results were more explicit than nuanced and plans a follow-up poll focused specifically on gamers' use of upscaling tools such as DLSS and FSR.
