The shop opens on 1 May at 106 St. Mary's Ave in La Plata, Maryland, initially stocking produce and goods from about five Charles County farms.
Owners Woody and Janine DeLauder say the store will sell seasonal produce, baked goods, pantry staples and household items, while also housing the farm's online order distribution centre.
