From 4 June 2026, cardholders will lose Connected Cards details in the iPhone Wallet app and the ability to redeem cashback directly for Apple Pay purchases.
Discover said customers can still use its cards with Apple Pay in stores and online, and can continue accessing balances, transactions, payments and rewards through Discover.com, its app and statements.
The features were introduced in 2023 and few US card issuers adopted them; it remains unclear whether Apple or Discover initiated the withdrawal.
