The CPSC notice says 27 people needed medical attention after ejected stoppers struck them, including three who suffered permanent vision loss.
The recall covers 5.8 million Stainless King Food Jars and 2.3 million Sportsman Food & Beverage Bottles sold from March 2008 to July 2024.
Products were sold for about $30 at Target, Walmart and Amazon, and consumers are told to stop using them and seek a free replacement stopper or bottle.
