The new dashboard setting, under Manage Quick Resume, makes selected titles launch fresh instead of resuming a suspended session.
It targets problems in always-online and other affected games, where Quick Resume could trigger connection-loss screens, saving issues or missed achievements.
Quick Resume has been available since launch and can hold multiple games at once, but players had long complained it disrupted titles such as Elden Ring and Helldivers 2.
