At the Old Bailey, two 16-year-olds got seven years and a 15-year-old five for killing the 49-year-old on Leysdown-on-Sea beach in Kent in August 2025.
The court heard they exchanged about 75 messages, lured Cashford to the beach after an arcade encounter, then chased and struck him with rocks and a bottle.
Cashford suffered more than 30 external injuries; prosecutors said the attack was pre-planned and filmed, while the judge called it an appalling, senseless killing.
