The latest report says One UI 9 will span Samsung phones and laptops, while Google is building Galaxy Book 6 Edge for desktop-level Android capability.
The software is designed for PC-style multitasking with mobile app support, alongside Galaxy AI tools and a major Samsung DeX upgrade for professional desktop workflows.
Previous reports said Samsung was planning entry-level, mid-range and flagship models, with an announcement possibly around Google I/O on 19-20 May and hardware later in 2026.
