Florida consumer sentiment drops for second month in April

The University of Florida said confidence fell 3.5 points from 78.1 to 74.6, matching the national decline, after surveying 312 Floridians between 1 March and 23 April.
All five sentiment measures weakened, with views of personal finances dropping to 70.5 and one-year US economic expectations falling to 73.4, the sharpest decline among the indexes.
UF economist Hector Sandoval linked the slide to the Iran war, higher fuel prices and inflation, while Florida's February unemployment rate rose to 4.6%, above the 4.4% national rate.
