At the 2026 meeting, speakers from Italy, Switzerland and Türkiye said care should vary by symptoms, age, menopause stage and pregnancy plans, covering drugs, surgery and assisted reproduction.
Hormonal therapy was presented as first-line for pain without pregnancy goals, while surgery was reserved for failed medical treatment, obstruction, suspected cancer or selected fertility-sparing cases.
